Small-batch candle studio · Demo store

Small rituals.
A softer glow.

Hand-poured candles in amber jars and travel tins, each one a small scene: cedar after a storm, a slow bakery morning, a reading room after dark.

The studio (a fictional one)

Poured in batches of forty, on a long oak table

Ember & Moss is an invented studio: two makers, a converted garage and a shelf of amber glass. Every scent starts as a small scene from an ordinary day, then gets poured, cured for two weeks and labeled by hand.

None of it is real, which makes it a great place to learn how a real store runs.

Gift collection

Ready to give, ribbon included

The Slow Sunday Trio packs three travel tins into a cream box. The Woodland Discovery Set is four miniatures for finding a favorite. Both are weekend favorites.

Candle care

Three habits for a cleaner burn

Read the full care guide →

1

Let the first burn reach the edge

Two to three hours, until the melt pool touches the glass. It sets the memory for every burn after.

2

Trim to 1/4 inch

Before every light. Less soot, a steadier flame and a cleaner jar.

3

Four hours, then rest

Longer burns overheat the wick. Let it cool, trim, then light again.
